Being a people-pleaser might look … stupid.
For many, many of you.
But … is this a quality?!
Or … ?!
Well …. I know that … a people-pleaser is a person who puts others needs ahead of their own. This type of person is highly attuned to others and often seen as agreeable, helpful, and kind, but people-pleasers can also have trouble advocating for themselves, which can lead to a harmful pattern of self-sacrifice or self-neglect.
And the questions i dare to ask is … does it worth it to … sacrifice ourselves for the others?!
Many … would answer … no.
But i also dare to ask myself … how would look my life … if i would be surrounded by those types of people?!
Would i like it?!
Would my life look better?!
Would i be happier?!
… or at least less unhappy?!
Would i want to be surrounded only and only by those people?!
Maybe … yes.
But … what about you?!
Well … most probably …. you’ll answer the same.
Unfortunately … I believe that being a people-pleaser… is a mistake.
We can do it … with the ones we really love … but …
Yes … even in such cases … they will adore us … only and only if we’ll satisfy their needs and desires.
And … if one day … we’ll not do it … then the dynamic of the relationship … will not be the same anymore.
That is what … I believe.
… strongly believe.
So … maybe we should find other ways in how they should feel … this type of adoration for us.
